Numerical investigation of TiO2 and MWCNTs turbine meter oil nanofluids: Flow and hydrodynamic properties

The main aim of the present study is to evaluate influence multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) on lubricant fluid flow within natural gas turbine meters. In light this purpose, disparate concentration NPs (0.1, 0.2, 0.3 wt%), various volume rates 0.14, 0.35, 0.12 cm3S were employed for experimental analyses. facet simulation, Gambit software version 2. 4. 6 mesh oil pathway Fluent solving equations utilized. It was revealed that pressure drop in presence increased. Moreover, there an increase value with raising concentration; instance, MWCNTs-containing nanofluids at rate 0.35 cm enhanced from 92.72 Pa 94.64 as raised 0.1 0.3. Furthermore, modeling outcomes corroborated uptrend by increasing reported maximum cm3S. On other hand, numerical results friction coefficient directly inversely proportional rates, sequentially. Additionally, rate, entrance length increased, reaching developed state delayed. worth noting final finding resulted decreasing fast state.
